All the legal processes have been followed to transfer the FMH into my sole ownership and our former rental property (currently fully furnished, including kitchen/laundry appliances and vacant ready for them to move in to) into ex-spouses sole ownership. I have copies of all documentation in respect of this.

My ex-spouse does not have a solicitor and ignores most post addressed to them, does not respond to e-mails and will not provide an up to date mobile phone number. They did turn up to court for the final hearing however and know how our properties have been allocated between us in the final court order regarding financial settlement. They did not agree with this but did not appeal the financial settlement.

So, how do I now get them to move out ? They are trespassing by still being here. As they will not communicate with me I've had to produce a list of our household contents and prior to the legal transfers being done, have moved a substantial proportion of them into their property so that is all ready to move in to (I've acquired replacements for myself and our teenage children where necessary).

I'm pretty much out of funds after paying substantial amounts to solicitors over the period of the divorce, as you can imagine it took years due to ex-spouses lack of co-operation/manipulation of the legal system, so I'm just wanting to know how I now evict them. They have a perfectly good mortgage-free home ready to move into, less than 10 minutes from the FMH and won't need more than a couple of suitcases to move the very small amount of their belongings left in what is now my property.

I'm at my wits end with the unpleasant atmosphere, they don't communicate with me and the kids at all other than to express anger with me having got the divorce finalised by slamming doors etc.

How do I get them out, can I just tell them I am going to change the locks in 7 days and then do so ?
