I jointly own (joint mortgage)a house in the UK with my ex-wife. We divorced 10 years ago and had a no financial settlement, but both our names are still on the mortgage. I haven’t contributed to the mortgage for the past 8 years. The house is worth around £400k with about £300k equity. She cannot afford to buy me out, and we have children under 21 living at home. What are our options moving forward.

Agree when the house will be sold and how the equity will be split.

Best to do it via a Court order and get all financial ties ended.
