Hi all I’m new here.
I’m currently going through a divorce, I’m in the FH with the children, S2BEX is renting a room.
I have met someone new, he has met the children, after telling ex I met someone.
Now the S2BEX is saying new partner can’t come in fh!
I’m paying half mortgage and all bills.
Can he do this??
Thank you x

No, if you have occupancy of the property you can invite guests as you please. It's no different to having a friend or family member over.

If your ex was still in the property things would be different.

As with many actions which were acceptable/tolerated in the past, certain things are now not accepted and coercive control is one of them. See the link below to see if it resonates with you - the advice equally applies to men and as well as women.
