:angry:My partner's ex wife has a solicitor who is not above playing dirty tricks (the words of our solicitor). We have already been landed with the divorce costs for a 2 year with consent divorce but at the time we were unrepresented.

Now - after several stroppy emails from her solicitor to ours - we have exchanged form E's. Ours was full and frank disclosure but his ex has answered not voluntarily disclosed to 8 questions?! even to questions such as what was the standard of living enjoyed during marriage?

Can anyone advise what she may be playing at? As i understand it - even if she wanted to the court to decide on a settlement - the judge would not be impressed with her lack of disclosure. Again - it seems that those who don't play fair just increase the stress, expense and length of time it takes to sort things out!

Sadly that also my observation one party can do everything right while the other plays games causes maximum stress and ignores requests from the court yet nothing gets done and appears to have no bearing on outcome if anything the obstrctor often does better.

All you can do is plod along knowing you have the right thing although it's no consolation when the enemy cleans up.

The law/legal system really needs to be changed.:(

So far - we have not even reached court and hoping to settle without. Her solicitor had got very insistent about exchanging Form E's so we spent 2 weeks solid on ours and completed it honestly and in full and it's 12 not 8 questions she hasn't answered.

Just can't understand what she is playing at as if she wants to go to court - she can't without filing a fully completed Form E anyway so what's the point?!

Can't understand her solicitor either?! Unreasonable people turn the whole process into an unfunny joke!
