Hi

I have just exchanged form E
I went to a solicitor for a free 30 mins session
She basically said I am stuffed that I need to apply to re submit my form E
That I need to add lots of things to it.
How do I apply to re submit my my form E ?

On what basis did they tell you this?

Did you put incorrect figures on the Form E?

If the wrong figures have been submitted how did this happen?

Are you in the court process or is this a voluntary exchange? What is the date for your first appointment if you are heading for court?

You can let the other side know you are submitting an updated Form E. Ideally it should be done in time for them to prepare questions etc. You will also need to complete other documents - questionnaire, chronology, statement of issues etc.

If you need help and cannot afford solicitor rates, this site does offer some cost effective support for self reppers. Give the helpline a call or look at the services tab.

Hi
it is not the figures that are wrong. My wife has gone into great detail about my wrong doings. I was arrested by the police and charged with fraud.
She is claiming 100% because of my actions.
I did not put in my form she was arrested and was as involved as me and has more skeletons in her cupboard.
The Solicitors says it looks bad .

I showed her the evidence and said if I paid her £3000 she could fix it . I do not have £3000 and face losing my share of the settlement at 50% which is £230000

i have just signed up on here for help but think need more than on here can offer. I have put in a legal services order but apparently they are never given .
thanks

OK so this can be addressed in your questionnaire and Statement of Issues.

Was she ever charged/convicted?

What was the financial loss resulting from your conviction?

You still have housing needs etc.

Are there children to consider?

She was never charged
There are no children
There was no financial loss
She says she has missed a promotion because of it but then says she was going to retire at 55. She is 55 now.
