Hi all,

I am involved with complicated AR proceedings.

I was a LIP and then as things got tough I went to a Solicitor who understood that I was not made of money and I went along with them.

Now I am £20,000 in and FH is in December. Now told it will cost me at least another £30,000 in fees and Counsel.

Only had one bill from them and now I am a position we’re if I do not settle £5000 and put in place funding and will be abandoned by them.

I looked on their website and asked whether their was any discount that they could give, they said no. I asked why ? in view of the fact that they advertise on line stating that if I was a Police Officer I would get 30% discount on hourly rate ? Substantial saving if I was a PO ? I was refused.

I asked what was the difference between me and a PO ? No comment !

How can the do this ? This is clearly discrimination and equality. I feel very angered as this could have saved me £6000 but more importantly I may have chosen to stay with them with the discount. I feel deceived
