Hi
As we could not agree -I applied to court for financial remedy ( still waiting for next stage)
I keep getting emails from his solicitor asking;
Wether i am self representing or have i instructed a solicitor - i am self representing
Do i have to respond?
Why dos she wish to know?

Also initially she stated this was just a pension sharing exercise ( as we divided house 50/50 years ago)
She is now asking what share my son has in the house (he is joint owner) Also what he pays towards the mortgage
Why does she wish this information?

Many thanks

She'll want to know if you are self repping or have a solicitor so she knows who to write to.

You don't have to respond to questions until it is time to exchange details.

If it is just a pension sharing exercise why not ask the reason for the queries about home ownership?

Re the house information
I responded by saying i was intrigued by why she wished to know re my house
She stated -the courts will need to know wether i own 100% and with what contribution/share my son has

So thanks for information -I will ignore communication until advised by the courts
