i am currently in the process of trying to negotiate a financial agreement with my husband in order to get 'a Clean Break order' agreed and apply for the Decree Absolute. my husband attended the marital home last night very angry and argumentative citing he had received information from his solicitor after our financial exchange was completed stating i was hiding money with family members and that some of the debt i recorded was a 'lie'.
this information is absolutely not true, accurate or reflective of my financial paperwork. i am really concerned if his legal advisor is giving him this serious mis-information and what if anything i can do about it.
i emailed his solicitor today to express my concerns but their response as i expected was to state they are unable to discuss their clients matters. what if anything can i do if they have given him this information.

they have put me in a very precarious position as my husband is very unpredictable in his behavior and it has left me concerned and anxious .

any advice please

The chances are this is his misrepresentation of what he's been told by the solicitor. It is standard practice to review financial disclosure to see if there's anything to suggest there are undeclared funds, bank accounts etc.
The correct way to deal with any concerns is to raise questions and ask for supporting evidence.
If you are concerned about his behaviour and feel in any way threatened, you could talk to the police on the non emergency line. If things don't improve, you may need to consider a non molestation order.
