Hi guys,
Just to draw your attention to a few forum improvements that went live on the site last night.
1) Latest Post Views
We have improved the latest posts views:
a) You can now
view the 200 latest posts
. This allows you to scan back a few days, rather than only see the last 12 hours or so activity.
b) You can also view the last 200
unanswered posts
. There was previously a glitch that sometimes showed an incomplete list of unanswered posts. The new view should help us make sure that all posts get seen and answered.
c) Also
YOUR last 200 POSTS
. This is very useful to keep track of your own forum contributions.
d) Also
YOUR last 200 REPLIES
. This is again very handy if you regularly answer questions on the forum.
e) All the above views are paginated so you can navigate more easily through the latest posts, 25 posts at a time.
f) Original poster's country flag is now displayed which we hope helps ensure that when replying to a post you are aware of which country's laws are applicable to that poster.
g) Better navigation. You can now click the post title to go to the START of the thread OR the "Latest reply" link to go to the END of the thread.
2) Featured Information Links
There is a new feature down the left hand side of every forum page. Here you will now see selected 'information resources' highlighted.
These will change depending which forum you are in. So when you are viewing the "Child Support/Maintenance" forum you should see links to some useful suggested resources on the topic of "Child Support/Maintenance".
We will be adding a wider range of these links over the coming weeks.
3) Featured Services Links
Also down the left hand side of every forum page, you can now see selected 'services' highlighted.
These will change depending which forum you are in. So when you are viewing the "
mediation" forum you should see links to some useful suggested "Mediation" services.
We will be adding a wider range of relevant services over the coming weeks.
I hope you find the new changes useful.
Feel free to make any further suggestions for improvements to the forum or any part of the site.
regards
Ian
