Fantastic website. Glad i found it.
It seems quite slow though.I don't have a great connection but this site seems much slower than the normal business ones I use. Perhaps it is because it is so good you have far more hits/users than my other sites.

Gentie.

The site is slow tonight as we are gaining new members all the time.

We have upgraded the servers twice.

The good news is that a major change taking place this weekend should make a big difference. :woohoo:

We are moving the chat room (which causes about 60% of the load on the server) onto another machine.

So the existing server will only have to deal with the main site.

I have found it slow the whole week to be honest. But what DBNO says sounds great. But I am only jealous. Wish I'ld have come up with an idea for a site like this. I reall mean it. I think it is incredibly helpful. Just feel really sad that there are so many people registering daily.

Ah yes Gentie

You are right there - think we are up to 1 in 2 marriages heading for divorce. But at least this site keeps us sane; helps us laugh and always gain a bit of perspective on our own personal woe - (probably stops some of us turning into axe murders too) so all is well. But there is a hope it will also be a force for change so who knows maybe it will contribute to reform of divorce law. Hope yr situation isnt so dire Gentie - Rasher

Yeah.
Told my mother about a week ago and she was incredibly calm. I have 2 brothers (one not 'married') and she said so and so said a number of years ago one in three. I replied I believe nowadays it is more like one in two. I guess, in my case, so far, both statistics are correct!!
Not so dire Rasher thanks.
I could have married an axe murderer!
Sorry, do exclaimation marks mean I am shouting or something rather than trying to be funny?
i am new to any type of forum.
