I've just read scaryclairies #255192: 'Scottish people getting to know each other'.

Have the team considered/rejected the idea of us finding out who's local by some means, or other?
Pins in maps; Regions in profiles; etc..

Not suggesting it would be a quick or easy feature to add, & safety/anonymity must remain paramount.

Obviously there are umpteen ways this could be tackled, & you've already got plenty to do...:)

...anyway she'll be scary, so it's a good job she's at the other end of the country:laugh:
...oops, now you know where I am:blush:

This is a subject that comes up for discussion every now and again.

The best way to arrange a local meet for people in a certain area is to post in the forum and see if anyone is interested. Or pop into the chatroom, and get to know others in there.

Not everyone is comfortable in revealing their location - the idea of a pin map before, and it was vetoed by the members who felt it wasn't appropriate. Read this rather old thread - www.wikivorce.com/divorce/Divorce-Advice...-do-we-all-live.html

You can create an event on the community page by clicking here www.wikivorce.com/divorce/component/opti...d,1994/func,deliver/

And I doubt Claire is really scary, except maybe to you Stuka ;)
