Is it possible to make more space for the forum questions?

They are currently given a relatively small section of the home page, and interesting/important postings often get "lost" in the bowels on the forum when there are numerous new postings.

With more space allocated to the posts on the home page, this would make it easier to find recent posts.

Just a thought............

Does the NFLP advert have to be so big ?
Please halve the size of the advert and double up on the latest forum postings?
I'm sure you'll attract and help more people that way.

I agree with Maggie and Ruby on this one - more space to current forum postings would be great.

Hi Ladies,

The Latest 10 Forum postings already occupies the primary space on the home page. I put it there because to me the forum is the most important area of the site.

But the home page needs to give newcomers a taster of everything the site has to offer. The is a lot of competition for space on the home page.

It is designed to quickly commnicate to a newbie that wiki offers: forum, blogs, FAQs, guides, divorce services, photos, videos, chat etc etc.

For you more experienced guys who are mainly interested in the forum - perhaps you are better using the Latest Posts page, where the whole page is dedicated to latest posts.

Latest Posts...

Also which NFLP advert is too big? Do you mean the phone number on the top right of Wikivorce?

As that single banner is pretty much the only ad on the whole of Wikivorce and is a standard size. (excluding the solicitor directory).
What screen resolution do you use? I am guessing that you have a low screen resolution. I think if you increased it you would see a lot more.

Cheers

Fixed Price Divorce Services
Monday, 07 July 2008
divorce_split.jpg The first element of the divorce is the legal process to end the marriage. The first step is to submit a divorce petition to the court. The overall process usually takes 12 to 16 weeks, after which the court will issue a Divorce Absolute - the final certificate that formally and legally ends the marriage.

The second element is to agree care and contact arrangements for the children. This is done by drafting and agreeing a document called a Statement of Arrangements for the children. We can draft one of these based on your joint input and submit it along with the divorce petition.

The third element is to agree a fair financial agreement. This covers the division of assets such as the house, cars, pensions and savings. It also covers any child or spousal maintenance. To ensure that you do not leave yourself open to future financial claims (for example if one of you wins the lottery) - we strongly recommend that you get your financial agreement finalised as a court approved Consent Order.
