Having "Wikivorce Team" as an automatic friend sort of messes up the connection path when one clicks on PROFILE of fellow member. The reason for it's inclusion in the software seems to be negated. Individuals should remove it themselves but in practice, that doesn't happen. Hope you get my point.

Not really no. You can chose to accept or reject Wiki as a friend when you join... in fact, more reject than accept. You can later remove Wiki from your friends list should you chose.

The "connection path" on forums such as this is to be able to understand the relationships between members. If for example, a poster is considering making contact with someone via pm he/she would be able to make sure that their approach is not blundering by contacting a mutual friend first.

I Just did a little survey, of twenty five members, recent and old, only one has removed the "Wikivorce" friend. Where did you get your information from?

I do not get what you are on about - why do you feel the need to check a connection path to talk to someone?

In terms of my info - look at the wiki profile ... 11308 friends against 30767 members at the time of posting.

Alive,

I understand your point and your suggestion.

It does make sense and it would be more useful to have the connection paths exclude Wikivorce team.

Its not top priority (obviously) - but I will add the suggestion to the To Do list.

Hiya

I'm sorry for being particularly dim - but I don't get the connection path stuff at all .......

Could be because I'm dim, could be because it's Sunday nite.

What use is it please ?

It's interesting to see how many degrees of separation there are between members.

maybe it's just a man thing:) :):)
