I just love you two. Thanks, thanks and thanks again.

Maybe your right at most all I should do is make sure she knows she'll have to pay it, some or all doesn't matter, back (are there any stipulations to this?).
If you are right, and I have no reason to doubt it, she's just getting a loan for now. See I'm not thick. Just like the washine machine cleverly put on my credit card (with my knowledge, happy shoppers together) 3 weeks before she decided my time was up. Still I suppose I really will be able to demonstrate that is a joint liability, it doesn't live in my car boot. Maybe I am thick!

Rob,

This is a tricky one. I think it comes down to a simple question - are you divorcing or not? If there is a remote chance of reconciliation, then your wife may just accept advice from you, otherwise your stbx has to take reponsibility for her actions.

I suspect though that you are in that post break-up blur (that I lived in for about a year!) where you still "think" as a spouse and can't quite let go. Don't worry too much, these issues will be clearer with time. I would be very reluctant to do anything about her actions.

If it makes you feel any better about the washing machine, I paid for a £20k fitted kitchen which was completed only months before I was thrown out. I did cook one Xmas dinner though!

Best wishes

Kalamari
