My dear friend your children will feel the tension in the house and may i say if your s2bx shouts and swears so will your son.

Be proud of yourself for not lashing out firstly but yes you maybe should of told your wife but hey life isnt perfect is it.

just remember you must follow your intuition and do what is right be the father you want to be im afriad your s2bx can parent her way and you yours.

I am afriad it is one of the signs hwo children cope with emotions and i am sure there are many locked away.

try and put some structure to your time with your children dont force the issue try asking why??? softly gently guide them through this horendous time

Can only say what everyone else has said. We all say stupid things when we're angry,we're all human and can only take so much. God knows I have!

When its beyond repair friend...it is time to go...do so on as best terms as possible...perhaps gradual even.
A great source of explaining in an indirect way was believe it or not watching Mrs doubtfire with my daughter...I used to think that was an hilarious film.....until....I suddenly found out it was in fact a powerful reflection of truth in many ways.My daughter still loves the film now and amidst the message in it...its became a funny film again! What I mean to tell you is the passing of time can make the heartache easier!Your children can and will adapt...amidst your own saddness make it as best for them and mum as you can.Good luck!
