What does your Consent Order say if it''s when he leaves full time further education that it''s the last exam.

If they are going in to uni then you could consider applying for a variation until they leave uni after completing a first degree you could also request they include a gap year.

Your child can make an application in there own right but it would be hard for them to do this against a parent which is why I suggest you consider making an application to vary the order.

That''s right but it''s all confusing - CSA stops the same time as CTC which is the day they attend school for their last exam. CB stops 31st August! As it''s a voluntary arrangement maybe suggest that your ex gives your son something for his expenses whilst he''s at Uni ? My ex just stopped paying and that was it washed his hands of it all but some fathers like to be involved and support their children direct! Hope you can sort something out.

If its an agreement between yourselves your ex can stop paying anytime they want to. CSA would stop the first Monday in September after their A levels finished.

A family based agreement is always best but can I just ask if you were married then divorced? If yes have you resolved the finances with a consent order? Seems strange not to resolve them whilst getting divorced I understand if you cohabit it''s not the same but either way your son can still make an application to cover him until his first degree or you can as you will still incur expenses maintaining a base for them.
