Hi Lou
can you not take him to court for spousal support? The judge will be able to include child support aswell.

Hi!
We were not married and when we went to court in 2008 the CSA had already made an award to me of £5 a week (woo) and apparently a judge cannot overturn a CSA award or something..I didnt understand anything that went on in court...

Lou what sort of business does he have? Is he self employed or is it Ltd?
I think you can obtain copies of the company accounts from Company's house if he has a ltd company, this might reveal something. Also go to company-wizard.co.uk and try there.

Good luck.

i understand that this is most frustrating and deeply upsetting situation. its not just about the money is it? . it has been proven that children whose fathers are supporting them financially have more self esteem and do better generally when they know that the father puts his hand in his pocket. his own needs are obviously more important than those of his children .it is important that you try not to let the children be aware of all of this, for their sake.when they are older they will make their own mind up about him. try to find acceptance of that and move on. you need to concentrate on being a geat mum which i am sure you are. your children will love and respect you all the more for it.money might be tight but you will come throught it. dont allow this major creep to blight your life with anger and resentment. be true to yourself. he is the one who will suffer in the end.
