Thank you very much for the replies so far, they have been very helpful.

We are not going via the CSA, but have agreed to use the CSA principles as the basis. So I want to make sure the agreement is fair to both (every penny counts unfortunately). In addition I would pay 50% of the cost of extra-curricular activities.

I hadn't factored in holidays, inset days etc so that is worth knowing.

Thanks again

If you say you work but only earn £6 per week your goosing the software, £5 is the minimum payment even if you are out of work.

Hi,

great if you can come to a private agreement but try to be very clear about what it includes. If you are saying you will pay 50% of the cost of extra curricular activities this is great so long as they are discussed beforehand but you don't want to get into a situation where one person is making the arrangements and then telling the other that they owe them x amount of money for such and such. it leads to animosity!

Surley out of work and on benefits. If you are out of work and in theory not earning then it is zero.

My point was the csa say theyll leave you £200 pw to live on found that out to be a joke ,

An any one claiming JSA does get £5 pw taken off there money.
