PSO would be seen as aressive by a court. ive applied for a contact order to maintain the level of contact ive been having. trouble is if she goes the case will be transferred to devon where the RP and children live so id have to commute to devon to attend court ... incurring travel and hotel costs.

Drew,

This seem similar to another post,

www.wikivorce.com/divorce/Divorce-Advice...les-away.html#278249

The only thing I can say is communication is essential... is their a contact arrangement in place, how does your ex intend to arrange contact? extended holidays etc.

It is a bugger when this happens, i.e. contact is reduced through no fault of their own and then they are forced to pay more through the CSA. Your only recourse could be through the courts but this could cost and no real result.
NRPs should take it as red what the max deductions should be and allow for that if you pay less then the difference should be saved for the child by the NRP..just a thought.
