It may be swings and round abouts. If there is no/little capital to share on your level of income you may need to pay spouse maintenance and when school fees are paid up front that leaves more disposable income to pay SM.

Do I take it that the children will remain with you for most of the time? If so, this may also affect the outcome.

Children are 19 and 16. I reckon that they can choose where they want to reside and spend their time but I''m hoping that will be fairly evenly split between the two of us.
