As far as i understood/believed the new csa set up was actively promoting/suggesting that parents try to agree a mutual way on maintenance and therefore avoiding any need for their involvement. If i had a court order detailing the split, the percentages, allocation to wife as part of separation, the child maintenance figure and my proportion along with a chargeback clause detailing trigger points i am a little unsure on what grounds the csa could see that it was a gift.

Happy you are right they would not touch the case. You are correct the new policy is to promote parents away from the Agency hence www.evidence-tracker.com which is a parenting tool designed to help parents steer away from the agency. It a private project however there is a free trail and csa calculator which is the most advanced available.
