Hi
I read your post and wondered how your case has gone.

I too have a restraining order against my ex and wondered how that was dealt with for you at court and how your hearing went

Hugs !

Hi Klou,

It wasn't dealt with very well, I was told by the judge to provide a position statement without evidence in order for him to make his own comments on it, of which he did and were total lies. My feeling on this were he was allowed bring more abuse into the Family Court. I'm due at FDR on the 24th of May, however I have an appointment with a solicitor on Thursday morning as I feel I can no longer do this on my own. He has now failed to pay his half of the mortgage.

When do you have your hearing?

Hi
I hope things went well for you sadly I’m having a nightmare and still self repping to save costs. I had my FDA in July and am due back in 31st October for the FDR but the ex has failed to respond to the questionnaire as directed by the judge by 20th August although I have submitted mine. So he is 3 weeks late in sending his response which is becoming so frustrating.
What’s your current position as I know you had decided to contact a solicitor for support ?

Hi ... I was so glad I instructed an amazing solicitor.. I couldn’t go on self representing as my health was more important.l I came out with a higher percentage than he did however the house was put on the market but due to his constant harassment towards the estate agent they are no longer willing to market the house .. The police have been notified.. sadly he didn’t listen to them..so now I need to get an agreement from my ex to agree to a new estate agent, that will be another few weeks as my solicitor is now on holiday... at the end of the day it’s all about negotiation between you and your ex ...my advice is get a good solicitor for FDR.. sadly it’s still ongoing my end but only because he’s still being a bully
