Thank you Shezi

I have a form phobia. All the legalese makes me anxious and I feel like I'm signing my life away.

Petition has been filed. I'm waiting on Nisi before sending off for consent and will certainly come back and report (I hope) that it was smooth.

I assume I could have nisi by Feb? which could mean divorced by March. It seems unbelievable. I'll let you know

Ian did indeed ring and confirm that despite the wording of the letter fixed price means fixed price unless we suddenly no longer have an agreement

Which confirms what Dukey says

It's horrible feeling to be so out of control and at the mercy of the courts and solicitors.

Spiral,

I have great admiration for you raising your concerns so publicly and hHaving been in similar situations with wikivorce yet to be born, I can relate to the anxiety and phobia you expressed...and feel tremendous relief that you were heard and attended so promptly by Ian and Dukey...guess they are vying for votes Spiral ;) Take care...am off to vote now :silly:

Vote??

You've lost me?

(Not more forms!)

B)

I was impressed with the response. Ian listened to my snivelling hysterics very calmly and was very reassuring. I have flu is my excuse.....

Soz Spiral..am recently out the other end of a long divorce and humour in the face of adversity and in forums is often not clear or useful but something/part of how I cope/d   ...I was trying to say I am glad that you have had reassurance from two top blokes...and as there is a wiki man of the year post going in the forum at the moment...I thought one of these blokes deserved my vote for "coming" to your rescue with reassurance :silly: which one  ...well the Boss, Ian, would be sucking up ;) and the not able to post would be promoting incompetence :P ...so guess I have more thinking on who to vote for ;)

I respect how hard and scary this process is, and I apologize if I appeared flippant...was not my intention...with Ian and Dukey reasuring you..you will get through this and take over the world...doh there I go again! Take care,

E

Humour is good.

I haven't seen the wiki man of the year thread/article so didn't understand but do now!!

I think my div is going fairly easily compared to some (....early days !) so I can only imagine how horrid a difficult one would be :(
