I'm so glad I found this thread! My 2bx is still living in my flat with me and the kids and refuses to move out until I divorce him! He wants us to try again as well, and has indicated in the past that he would contest everything just to be difficult.

I think he doesn't believe I am serious, but will probably back down upon divorce proceedings starting. Does anybody know what happens if you use an online solicitor divorce and it then turns nasty?

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but does anyone have more info on this on-line package stuff please?
My partner is currently using an on-line solicitor for his divorce. We paid for the package after discussion with his wife and her agreement that we could proceed on the basis of a 2 year separation. After we had paid for the package and papers were filed with the court she decided to change her mind and contest the whole thing. Now she has solicitor and is making demands for money etc. We have not heard anything from our on-line solicitor for the last 4 weeks, in fact since they received the letter from her solicitor. Our emails are ignored and no one is ever available to us on the phone. Where do we stand with moving to another solicitor? and where would we stand with getting money back for services not received?
Please any help would be much appreciated.
