Cheers for the advice guys.

So if you do it yourself or go with one of these online companies, is it all legit? There are no loopholes down the line which says its not a proper divorce or something like that?

PS: Getting dumped sucks....big time :o(

I've done it!

I managed to complete a DIY Divorce. All in all it cost me £340 (£300 to apply and £40 for the Decree Absolute). It took about 9 months from beginning to end. I got the necessary forms from the court and had help from the Citizens Advice Bureau with the more difficult questions.

I have to state every case is different and it does not mean this will work for you. I am very happy with how it went and would happily answer any questions anyone might have.
