The sun shone B)
Fourteen wikis all managed to make it to the park. Coming from far and wide. Three of us cycled beforehand. Some new faces, along with some regulars. And some whom I had ''spoken'' to in chat, or on the forums, but never actually met. Always lovely to put a face to a name finally!
Majority of us moved onto a pub later too, and quite a few were still there when I had to bail out early evening.
Thanks to the organiser (s!)

If anyone is hesitant about attending a wiki meet. Don''t be. They are a lovely way to meet like minded people. Very friendly. Very supportive.

:)

Right. Who is organising the next one?!

Thank you, thank you, thank you all

You lot have no idea on the impact you had on me yesterday.

These months have been so difficult for me with the knowledge that some people who I thought a lot of think nothing of me.

Yesterday people who I have never met before allowed me to rant and rave etc, above all you accepted me for who I was. You did not judge me, you accepted me.

Each one of you have enriched my life.

Sooooooooo thank you x

Lovely to catch up with everyone if only briefly.

So lucky to have had the best day of the weekend for the weather.

I completed the shortened Ride London yesterday got a tad wet but absolutely loved it.

Thank you so much to Pixy for braving another potential down pour to see me over the finish line.

Date for next years event and wiki Picnic in the Park is the 1st & 2nd of August :)

Regards

JE :)

My sincere thanks to all who came on Saturday.
It was great to meet old friends, and make some new ones,we were very lucky with the weather, well Saturday anyway:)

Encouraging the new wiki''s that things actually do get better,is what makes these meets very important(besides the bevarages)if they can see that there is a life after divorce, and a good one also,it will help them on their journey..
I was chatting to a wiki I have not met before, and as I told her,"If the divorce malarky had not happened,I would not have met such wonderful people"..
I would never have come into contact with the people who are in my life, the ones I know I can call on at anytime, the ones who felt the same pain as me,the genuine people.

Yet again I am amazed with the people at the meets..
Why,did it happen to them?
All intelligent, attractive witty people:dry: What are those spouses looking for...

Well that''s one question we will never know...

Once again thank you all for making it a great success, here''s to the next one xx

Luv and cwtchs
Afon Xxxx

Evening

I was watching the TV this morning and the Dragons Den team was on there and they all spoke about needing role models and mentors in our lives.

I have decided that afon you are indeed both of the above in addition to all the others at the meet.

Thank you x
