Thanks. This helped me when I read it. It is definately true that a day at a time works. Some days have been so much easier than others. It just seemed that this week the situation became even more real and scary.

Hi
Its so awful to feel lonely, even more during the winter evenings. I've been married for 23years, have 2 children (17yrs and 11yrs) and never thought I would be in this situation. I know nothing about divorce or solicitors, so I have yet to deal with that scary side of it. The emotional side is bad enough isn't it.
Getting involved in a new hobby, be it at a college or gym or something similar is a good idea, if the facilities are close to hand especially. It gives a chance to meet people and focus on something, something for yourself.
People on here are so caring, so there is always a friend or two just a click away, you need never be alone.
Take care or yourself.

Thanks. I am going to try something new or at least go back to the gym or swimming or something. Financially things are really difficult so am going to have to think carefully. it is amazing how so many things in your life change at once.
