Hi everyone. I joined today and have only read a few threads but it has nade me realise how lucky I am. My stbx and I have only just started proceedings but obviously there have been various problems for years. We have had our really bad times with depression, hatred etc etc (on both sides) but now have found the friendship we had at the beginning. Infact it was her that introduced me to this site.
So let me assure everyone who is currently suffering, that there is life after a marriage breakdown. Don't give up on yourself you are worth fighting for. :cheer:

So glad to welcome someone who isn't suffering!

I had wanted an amicable split from my partner of 31 years (18 married) but he has gone to live with someone else and her children and hardly bothered to see our two teenagers and at the moment I am just soooo angry with him. When he does come round, to use our printer or collect stuff he wants to chat to me as though we are still friends, but I have lost so much respect for him as a father that I don't want to talk to him at all.
