I'm going to get advice and agreement before I proceed. I don't think she will want ongoing support/maintenance. Is this factored into valuations? I am going to use the wkikvorce valuation I think.

I wrote to my pension companies and asked for a CETV - it just took time and a bit of organisation, it did not cost anything.

I dont know much about the english divorce system other than what I have seen here.

This was the advice I got from the helpline at wikivorce, though it could be higher, it depends on age and other factors. The reason is that lots could happen before you get to retirement so the valuation is reduced, cash like savings is liquid, and house equity can be realised much quicker too.

I think this is right but I'm no expert, new to this, so someone else might be able to advise on this?
