I think I may go the self representing route at some point as the cost of applications and solicitors seem to exceed £1k before you really get started,
Financially I'm pushed but stable and maintenance is paid no problem.

It's crossed my mind now that as I'm in no rush to divorce do I need to do anything at all? and leave my husband to file for divorce and at that point his assets will have to be declared, plus when he wants things to progress they tend to, if I try to take a lead he will just back off and not cooperate in all likelihood.

Ultimately can I leave it too late to make a claim on his pension whilst we remain married?

Thanks again.

It's easier to sort things out quickly. If there are monetary assets, he can move these to other accounts and if 12 months passes you won't be able to pick up the trail of those monies as the form E (financial statement) which is exchanged during proceedings only calls for 12 months of statements to be disclosed.
