Hiya YA

Was just thinking earlier im gonna have to email him at some point for makeing all this possible. I know i've said this a few times in my many threads/posts, but at the risk of sounding repetative, if it was'nt for this site and the tremendous support you've all given me i dont think i coulda coped over the past 6 weeks and honestly belive i'd have ended it all by now, i'd almost certainly be hammered at this point in time, so once again, fanks Ian, fanks guys and thank God for Wiki.

Well done Lsot for recognising your problems and tackling them head on, hope it gets better now.
If only I could get stbx to see what you guys are saying it might help her as well.

Well it's the evening of the 4th day now and I'm still pretty mixed up. Jane is still here at the moment but is working nights so that takes some pressure off, that is until I see her in the morning and I get all knotted up inside again.

We are still talking a lot more though so that is good.

I'm so afraid of taking things she says and giving myself false hope. Like this morning she said she had been talking to a workmate and her mate had said, you never know how things may work out in the future, so don't be too upset now. We discuss remaining friends and she says can I have a 'friend hug'. We did hug, man that was nice. What do I do, continue with the hope or abandon all hope and prepare for the worst. My mind is in turmoil.

Then she says that the house she is going to is rented for 6 months and I immendiatley think of Christmas and my 50th birthday which is New Year's Eve and panic that I'll be alone and not able to even go out and have a drink. This is so hard, trying to deal with both things at once.

I have taken our 2 dogs for a 4 mile walk today though and am now on my 4th litre bottle of....WATER!!

Thanks for all your support guys, but does it really get any easier to cope?.

A freind hug?...... Yes m8, i've had a few of those, and yep, they feel good dont they. The touch, feel and most important, the smell.
Shes messed up and confussed, probably, and i know it sounds daft, more than you are. Your doing well m8, dont give up and stay sober, one relapse and shes gonna think its all a bad joke. sorry but there you are.

Bottled waters such a rip off dont ya fink? i drink milk myself, helps the stomach and stops the weight loss.........which will come soon so watch yaself.

keep fighting, but make sure you keep on top of your diet and wellbeing. If your bodys trashed, your mind will soon follow.

stay in touch

Matt
