Hi NWTT
Thank you for your thoughts
The PC is v v old, cobbled together by a freind with some IT know how.
When stbx moved out of MH following discovery, I did not change the locks.
I was not in my right mind,
I couldn''t do anything, eat, sleep think, etc.
stbx let himself into the house a week later when I was out and removed the computer.
He returned it a few days later with an apology and some flowers.
I did not understand the significance of what he had done. I was just in a
dreadful state. I realised he had done something to many of the files. we shared many accounts.
I think he ''defragged'' a lot of his files. I also believe while he had the computer
he downloaded all the data from his account.
A week later he requested I give him the home computer as he needed it ''for the business''
I refused as it was a shared computer and I needed it. I also then changed the locks to MH.
Some weeks later I switched computer on to find his account had disappeared!
I believe he put remote software on computer when he took it and intended to do what was necessary to remove any evidence.
Apologies a bit rambling , these stories never straight forward.
I do still have the PC but I somehow think my chances of getting anything are remote.
Thank you for giving it some thought. Appreciate it :)
