Support Groups

We provide a national helpline and both individual counselling. The counselling and groups are for boys and adult men (13 and over) who have experienced sexual abuse at any time in their lives and we also offer workshops for carers/partners/supporters of male survivors. We provide training to professionals and organisations working with adult male survivors.

Emotional and practical support for LGBT+ people experiencing domestic abuse. Abuse isn’t always physical- it can be psychological, emotional, financial, and sexual too.

Rape Crisis England & Wales is the umbrella body for a network of independent Rape Crisis Centres.All our member Centres provide specialist support and services for victims and survivors of sexual violence.

We aim to empower young people to feel they have the tools and confidence to support each other and have practical ways in which they can help their best friend around the issues of family relationships which can lead to early and forced marriage and dishonour based violence.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a unique organisation able to give peer and expert support after fatal domestic abuse. We do this by drawing on our personal and professional experience of major criminal justice processes like Domestic Homicide Reviews, Inquests, Mental Health Reviews and Independent Office of Police Complaints Inquiries.

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. We are there for parents when they need us the most because childhood can’t wait.

We are a charity founded in 1974 by social workers, lawyers and families in response to the injustices experienced by many parents involved with social services (now known as children's services) and the unnecessary separation of children from their families.

Action on Elder Abuse (AEA) is a specialist organisation that operates across the four nations of the United Kingdom. It also provides some support within Ireland. Unlike other 'older people's organisations' we focus exclusively on the issue of elder abuse, not as one issue among many, but as a single focus to our work.

DR UK is itself led by people with diverse experiences of disability and health conditions, from different communities. We work with allies committed to equal participation for all. Together we can be stronger.

We offer a free 4 night, 5 day stay for adults, with the opportunity to be heard in complete confidence, in a caring, safe environment.Since we opened our doors in 2002, there has been no other non-medical residential place to stay like it in the UK.
