Jobcentre Plus is a government-funded employment agency and social security office that can be found in most cities, whose aim it is to help people of working age find employment in the UK. It was formed when the Employment Service merged with the Benefits Agency and was renamed Jobcentre Plus in 2002. It is a part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).  

The Law Clinic is a partnership between students, academics and solicitors and barristers in practice locally. It has two objects: to provide a public service for local people who need legal advice and representation but cannot afford to pay for it, and to enhance the education of students in the Kent Law School.

The Law Centres Network strives for a just and equal society where everyone’s rights are valued and protected. We do this by supporting a national network of Law Centres that work with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society.We are the national voice of Law Centres and their clients, representing them at all levels of government and in various national forums.

Family Lives was formed over forty years ago by volunteers, with the aim of ensuring that all parents had somewhere to turn before they reached crisis point. We know that the right support at the right time makes all the difference. Family Lives provides targeted early intervention and crisis support to families who are struggling. The issues we support families with include family breakdown, challenging relationships and behaviour, debt, and emotional and mental wellbeing.

Family Action transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country.We have been building stronger families since 1869 – today working with over 45,000 families through over 140 community-based services. Thousands more are supported financially through our national small grants programmes.Reaching out to those in need, we strengthen families and communities, build skills and resilience and improve the life chances of everyone we work with.

The Wales Domestic Abuse Helpline is the national free support and information service for women, children and men in Wales who are experiencing or who have experienced abuse at the hands of someone close to them.
It is also an information service for people who are concerned about someone they know, and for agencies that need information on the support available in Wales for adults and children.

Jewish Women's Aid is the only specialist organisation in the UK supporting Jewish women and children affected by domestic abuse & sexual violence.

Our confidential helpline is available for male victims of domestic abuse and male victims of domestic violence across the UK.We support men suffering from domestic abuse from their current or former wife or partner (including same-sex partner).This can range from actual violence or object throwing to mental abuse such as constant bullying or constant insults
