I came home friday night to find a note left on the side to say (this is from my ex) to say she and the kids have gone away for a fortnight. She didn't say where or with who?

Is this legal especially as I am the kids father. They could be abroad or in the UK who knows? I was going to call the police.

Can someone give advice please

David
