I have separated from my ex partner, it has been a month. In this time he and his family have managed to sabotage the children. They have used every route possible to the children.

Previously I was on holiday for 2 weeks with partner and children. I had a nervous breakdown and due to this my partner and his family have used it against me.

I have not seen my children for a week. they have not phoned me. All my rights to them have been taken away, decisions regarding them are being made without me. (including school)

I have received a residential order with only supervised access to them. The lies and hate make me feel quite sick and anxious, it has been hard enough living without them.

While I should have been receiving love and support, I have been threatened and rejected and lied about, I have become vulnerable without my children in my home with me.

Every time I have tried to generate a conversation to work towards some negotiation in any respect, my ex has cleverly diverted the dialogue.

I am scared, vulnerable and alone. He is with his mother and father and his children. I did not wish this upon the children in any way and feel that the family have been completely out of order with no care or regard to the children s security or health, let alone mine.

Yes I have become very angry with them and am disgusted that the rights of a mother can be sabotaged so quickly. All I wanted was to separate humanly from a father who was a bully, heavy drinker and a drug addict. We had been having counselling (1year) and previously had had lots of terrorizing arguments. He saw this coming for a long time and took control of a situation using the kids as bait.

I may have had a breakdown, there is no reason to take away my rights to the children or the children s rights to their mother away. I do not understand the legal system but I am horrified to how it can be used for power, control and emotional abuse.

Surly they will see this in court and grant me my children home.

Do I try to keep it out of court or go to court to receive some dignity in my life.
Will I forever be threatened and terrorized my the family who think they have more rights to my children than their mother?

Will my children come home to me?

Welcome to wiki. Hopefully we can provide some support for you at this difficult time.

Neither a mother or father have any rights of their children only responsibilities. That said the parent who has the children currently living tends to have the upperhand when it comes to the court deciding what should happen regarding the children.

Do you have independent evidence regarding the issues the father has had?
