Hey
We all have been where you have now.I used to really miss my son on the weekend he wasn''t with me but as shoegirl has said it''s so important for children to have a relationship with both parents despite different parenting styles.
When I first separated my ex used to take our son to football matches all sorts now he rarely does anything with him so the novelty does wear off believe me.
I totally understand re games as our son here has a Ps4,x box every games console going and my ex recently told me he has now got him an x box for his house which I could never understand as he has him for so little time 56 hours a month in fact...but I can''t tell him what he should be doing as it''s his time.Funny though as he makes our son buy games with money that I give him.
I recently did a post about goal setting and you spoke about running....This could be a good time to get into it again and keep your mind busy.xx

Hi Blondecazza

Today I got up and got on with it and kept myself busy:

Washing/ironing
cleaning bedrooms
tidying up the garden
washing curtains/nets
Going to the bottle bank
Dusting/hoovering
coming on here
Am now ready to go running and it''s such a lovely day for it

I feel so much better than yesterday, what a difference 24 hours makes

xx
