Hi all

Following being back in court a few weeks ago my ex has now resumed what the court call ''step by step'' contact in that our DD sees him little and often whilst getting to know him. In addition, his current GF is not allowed contact with DD (ex had to take an undertaking to this effect)

He would be due to see our DD next weekend, ie Friday 26th from 6pm until Sunday 28th at 6pm. I have contacted him to confirm and he has said he isn''t available and suggested Monday 22nd from 1pm until 24th at 4pm. Unfortunately I am unable to facilitate these dates due to prior plans we have and with less then a weeks notice I am unable to change.

I have sent back a list of dates (including this weekend) but if he is saying he isnt available on any of them (one of which should be ''his weekend'') then what should I do? We go back to court in March for a review of how things are going.

I think you have done all you can do, to be honest. You''ve given him a list of alternative dates - it''s up to him to take up the contact that is available.
