We are currently using a Family based arrangement, where the minimum calculated CM is being paid alongside the mortgage, house insurance, mortgage protection.

If an official application is made to the CMS will the full payments for the mortgage, house insurance and protection policies be considered in deciding the amount paid

Or is it just a straight x% of P60 salary

Any input appreciated

It''s just a straight percentage of salary.

Most people calculate the child maintenance using the CMS system and then take away from that figure any payments such as mortgage or house insurance so as they are not paying twice.

if you pay the mortgage but don''t have a beneficial interest on the property, you can apply for a variation through CMS.
