I am the resident parent. My ex and I are, unfortunately not managing the split terribly amicably as yet.
We seem to disagree over everything to do with the children at the moment.
I have suggested mediation and/ or generating a parenting plan to try and remedy the situation, but he will not engage. Any advice as to what my best next step would be?

What is the sticking point?

Do you want him to have the childen less or more than the time he is suggesting?

If you want him to have more contact than he is suggesting then not a lot you can do a court wont force him to see a child more. If you want him to have less contact you could apply to the courts so they xan make the decision.
