Hi all just wanted to gather some thoughts on here for a couple of things.

My son is 16 in April and he has he gcse''s coming up. He has decided what courses he wants to do but this does not satisfy his mum and she is demanding that I make him do certain courses (I teach at an fe college). I have said all along I will not do that and will be there to support him whatever choice he makes.

Further to this she is now demanding a change to his contact arrangements with me. The one she has "suggested" is one week on one week off but that would not really work due to transport etc.

My initial thought is to swap his midweek night with me for one at the weekend, a Sunday maybe.

I am in 2 minds as I want to support him through his exams but also feel that this has become part of a larger picture as he is getting to an age where he can and should be having some choices and freedoms of his own.

Thank you in advance
