What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi everyone. I have submitted my form E bundle to the court - the deadline is this coming Monday, but my ex has not yet done this
I have a non-molestation order in place and we are supposed to exchange by the same Monday
I am not represented and the court told me he is not represented either
Do i send mine through the post to his address and hope I receive his or do I hang onto it?
The first hearing was supposed to be in a couple of weeks but i asked for an adjournment as I am on holiday so it has been pushed back to October.
I am happy to post but I know how devious he is and he will use my information to his advantage

Any advice would be great!

I think normally in dispute resolution you would submit all your bundles to the court with the correct fees to distribute to the other parties. In your case that would be two bundles, one for the court and one for him.
