What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Please I need advice on exchange of form E with the other party after the solicitors disclosed ex has not submitted large amount of information and documents to the court by the deadline. I was told outstanding docs will be filed with the court the following week and we agreed to exchange afterwards.

This has not happened but they are now putting pressure on me to exchange my form e knowing he is only giving me 25% info. They threatened if I didn't exchange last Friday they would report me to the judge if I for the delay in questionaire..
They said they are only exchanging what was filed with the court as at the deadline and said I should put the outstanding documents in the questionaire, which I think will make the questionaire unnecessary too long.
Should I still exchange with them as the deadline to send questionaire to the court is fast approaching.

They told me he did not provide asset valuation and information, business asset valuation and information, pension asset, life insurance and some more documents whereas he has all these. And they have not provided me with the reason why they are outstanding, so, obviously deliberating withholding information and documents.
They said business valuation will be provided in due course when available, no accounts was also given . No time specific when anything will be ready.

I am very reluctant to exchange, there will be nothing to build my questionaire on.
Please advise.
