some advice please: went to housing today to give in my docs...for HB. they are still saying that they can't process the claim till i actually move into the property...even though they've more or less said I am entitlted to HB cos i have the kids anyone else had this problem? It's just that I dont want to end up tied into a 12 month tenancy agreement with rent that is way above my salary. they know i am joint homeowner and that divorce proceedings are underway...is this the usual way it goes. get the tenancy then find out if you get HB??
