Court fee

HI there
Totally new to all this. My ex moved out last summer and we are looking at divorce and he is going to divorce me for adultery.
He is on benefits ( is receives dla etc and is unable to work). Would he be able to get help with the court fees etc?
We are still friends but we want to get the financial side of things sorted ie pensions

I''m not sure if you''re saying he is on IS (Income Support) or whether that''s a typo.

DLA will not entitle him to fee remission, but Income Support will (as will income related ESA and others). He may alternatively qualify on low income.

There is also a disposable capital test he would have to pass, though the value of the home you live in is excluded.

I used this recently and although the form looks daunting it was in fact quite straightforward to apply for.
