Hello,

I wrote longer post on 30 Dec but didn't get any replies so I'll write a shorter one. Am getting extremely worried as my ex has applied to court for child custody order but he has also made false allegations of abuse. My question is do I have to reply to courts before the first court hearing with my postion? I can't see any adress to respond to or find any relevant forms. I just don't know whether I should be doing something beforhand other than gathering the copious notes that I am gathering.

There is no such thing as custody and hasn’t been for many years.
These days Courts prefer parents to sort out child arrangements themselves and only make orders where they have.
Nothing to do for now other than wait to hear from the court and turn up on the day. As for any allegations don’t worry about it. Is there any evidence of abuse or action been taken by any authorities? If not then it won’t be of much interest.
