Hi there,

I had my first hearing as my exhusband wants to vary child maintenance for my four young children and another hearing has been arranged. In my first hearing the judge decided that even my exhusband has remarried his partner's disclosure was irrelevant. His bank statements in the form E did not show any monthly outgoings. The judge decided this was not important either. The only thing important ws is income and as he is self employed he is now claiming he is earning £5,000 or less a year. But i know he is earning £100,000 or plus. What is the best way to prove this? If anyone has been in this position i would be grateful for some advice.

Thanks

How do you know he is earning that much?

Hi Sunnyjay

Don't know how you can prove your ex husbands earnings but I know my ex earns an excessive amount too. He successfully managed to go to court, CSA and him and I was awarded £0:00 in child maintenance re arrears and future payments!

Children will receive no maintenance payments when they go onto university because he has succeeded in his court case!

Be careful with self-employed they are a law unto themselves!

Nobody is interested providing the paperwork is legitimate!

My children were all in private education until we split then suddenly ex has net weekly income of £5:00 and I am left with outstanding school fees to pay and maintain 3 children!

I know how much my ex earns because I helped him build up "his" business whilst working full-time in my job!

Best of luck
