Hi

My husband and I have not been getting on for the last 18months - since the birth of hour son however things weren't right before that. It has got to the stage where I want to leave but I'm scared to incase he stops me from taking our son with me.

I would never stop my husband from seeing our son but I want him to live with me.

Any advice would be grateful thanks.

This is very early days for you. Courts will not try to get involved with who looks after the child. What is currently happening do you mainly stay at home?

Have you tried marriage counselling it really is a big decision to make separation and cna have a huge impact if there is no one else involved then maybe you can talk things through with someone

I have talked through things with a couple of people. My husband is not the type who would sit and listen or even try and work things through, he wouldn't accept any blame.

I know we are both to blame but i sincerely believe he hasn't left because he thinks he has too much to lose - finacially

Probably true, but that fear may cause him to go to counselling and look at himself.
