Can my ex husband stop paying CSA from when my son leaves school school

I think that you're probably better contacting the csa regarding this and asking their advice.

I doubt very much they'll just stop collecting it from your ex on his say so which is why he wants you to agree.


If your son is to remain in full time education then I'd have thought they'd advise that it should continue as your ex will obviously not want to build up any arrears for the months he didn't pay. The only problem is that if your son doesn't for whatever reason then there will be arrears that you would have to pay back to your ex.

If you are in receipt of Child Benefit you will be entitled to child support. CB can be paid for up to 20 weeks if your child has left relevant education or training and they're still under 18 even if they work up to 24 hours. With 18 and 19 year old school leavers CB and therefore CM is usually paid until the first week in September. See;
