Hi im new to this and will try keep this short.

My partners ex-wife left him when his children were 2 & 3yrs. His ex left him for another man, my partner had to give up his fulltime job to go on benefits. His ex always had jobs but gave them up as soon as csa or anyone got involved.
He got a fulltime job when the children where 11 & 12yrs. His ex had fulltime job, remarried and had kids. She never paid a penny to supprt the children and the savings accounts we set up has been robbed by her that they only got a small amount back in return.
His youngest now 17. We had had a letter and a cheque for £500 saying its maintence for 2007/2008 for the 17 yr old. Ex is now saying that money should not have been ours but go to a "secondry"? Can anyone give any light on this please? She has always lived in a plush 5bed house, had best of everything whilst my partner had to give up his house and job to feed their children. Who is right here? What is Owed? Who was tht money for?

Welcome to wiki.

Was there ever a Consent Order or other court order regarding the finances?
